Cooling Fan & Shroud

Engine Noise (Exhaust Leaks at Exhaust Manifold - loud whistling?)

Air Leaks in compressed air system (brakes)
DPF DAILY INSPECTIONS:​

Exhaust Leaks or Damage to Exhaust System or Mounting Hardware

Wetness due to Fuel Leaks at DPF Fuel Injector

DEF Crystallization at DEF Nozzle or anywhere in exhaust system
MONTHLY
ENGINE INSPECTIONS:

Engine Air Filter Indictor
-
Charge Air Cooler and Tubing, signs of wetness from Oil Entry from CCV System or Turbo Oil Consumption
-
Coolant Quality and Level
-
Radiator Blockage or Leaks
-
Diesel Exhaust Fluid Contamination
-
Turbocharger Air Intake, CAC, & Boost Side of CAC
-
Crankcase Breather Tubing (Excessive Oil bleeding through rubber hoses or flanges?)
-
Engine Mounts & Mounting Bolts (Cracks? Loose?)
-
Coolant Reservoir & Coolant Level Sensor (wiring damaged or cut?)
-
Inspect the EGR Cooler for signs of cracking or damage (coolant leaking into exhaust or exhaust into coolant?)
DPF MONTHLY INSPECTIONS:
-
Excessive DPF Active REGENs (per the operator, or via PTT Diagnostic Software)
-
Exhaust Leaks (Bellows cracked?)
-
Signs of Heat Damage at DPF Differential Pressure Sensor & Tubing and DPF Wiring Harness (especially on Burner Style DPFs)
-
Blue or White Smoke exiting DPF due to Oil Entry or excessive Diesel Fuel Consumption
