Replace the following:​​

  • COOLANT FILTER (can replace at 12 months if using extended life coolant)

  • EGR Cooler DAMPERS (can go up to 120,000mi)

Replace the following:

  • DRIVE BELT

  • COOLANT Change (Extended Life Coolant can go to 48 Months)


 

Service the following:​​​

  • OVERHEAD SET (VALVE ADJUSTMENT)

  • FUEL INJECTOR ADJUSTMENT (Complete with the Valve Adjustment)

  • STEAM CLEAN THE ENGINE BLOCK

  • FUEL TANK VENT FILTER

  • REPLACE ANY CRACKED OR LEAKING COOLANT HOSES

  • INSPECT & TEST THE CRANKCASE FILTER ASSEMBLY (Remove and spin to ensure spinning freely, clean or replace as needed, also inspect the tubing for excessive oil entering the engine intake, as is sign of non spinning CCV Filter)

  • INSPECT & TEST THE TURBOCHARGER DISHARGE RECIRCULATION VALVE (DRV) (Often this valve will stick open, causing the turbocharger to over-work and wear out quickly)

Replace the following:

  • DPF IGNITION ELECTRODE (2X)

  • DPF IGNITER WIRES (2X)

  • DPF NOZZLE (Can often clean)

  • DPF FLAME TEMPERATURE SENSOR

  • DPF GASKETS (2X)

  • DEF FLUID FILTER


 

Service the following:

  • Perform the  DPF MAINTENANCE (see DPF MAINTENANCE for details)

  • INSPECT THE CAC (CLEAN AS NEEDED - IF OIL DISCOVERED)

  • INSPECT THE EGR VALVE & SYSTEM (REMOVE AND CLEAN AS NEEDED)

  • INSPECT AND TEST THE BRAKE AIR SYSTEM (the DPF ATOMIZATION MODULE uses compressed air to function, if the compressed air system has problems, so will the DPF System)

  • REPAIR ANY AIR LEAKS IN THE BRAKE AIR SYSTEM

Replace the following:

  • DPF/DOC GASKETS (3X)

  • DEF FLUID FILTER

Service the following:

  • Perform the DPF MAINTENANCE (see DPF MAINTENANCE for details)

  • INSPECT THE CAC (Clean as needed - if Oil is discovered in CAC)

  • INSPECT THE EGR VALVE & SYSTEM (Remove and clean as needed)
